Repose
I’ve been absent from here quite a while. But I have been actively uploading photos on my flickr site (Flickr Photos). I must admit it is part of the reason I have been absent from here. Alot has been going on lately.
November was a pretty busy month for Michel and I, a bit frustrating for me, too. Three weekends in a row we had to make the two and a half hour drive to Yamanashi to visit some friends of his who were visiting Japan (they lived here last year but went back home before I arrived). All in all it was fun but three very expensive weekends with a lot of drinking and staying out late, and by the third weekend I was so tired and cranky… it was pretty bad.
But some great things happened, too. Michel and I had our 1 year anniversary on the ninth. Michel turned 26 on the 26th! And way back in October we took a very nice trip to Hiroshima.
Now its December and its starting to get really cold inside and outside. Houses in Japan, for the most part, have no insulation so unless you have the heat on the cold comes into the house immediately. When we wake up in the morning we can see our breath, its ridiculous. Needless to say, riding the scooter right now is not very fun. But soon we will be finished with work for three whole weeks, during which time we will take a trip to China, so I have that to look forward to!
